UUCOM TRADITIONS

Guest at Your Table (GAYT)- As an annual tradition of Unitarian Universalist Member Churches, children pass out GAYT boxes to help raise money for the service work of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC). The UUSC is involved in social action and caring for others around the world. We encourage everyone to participate in this worthwhile program that demonstrates the principles of our living faith.

Children’s Christmas Pageant- In November and December, children will rehearse a program to be performed for the entire church as a service in December. With music, singing and plenty of entertainment it’s is fun and fellowship for everyone. (Contact the DRE if you’d like to help with the Pageant or have ideas for the theme).

Intergenerational Parties- The Voluntary Simplicity group hosts monthly gatherings the 2nd Saturday of the month at the church. The atmosphere is fun and casual and a celebration for all ages. Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Summer parties are always fun times. Watch for details to be posted.

Social Outreach– To put our Unitarian Universalist Principles into action, we coordinate a Sunday in which the children volunteer their time and give back to the community. Details will be posted later.
